Barcode Printers

The label to be printed determines the best barcode printer. Some labels must be printed on a mid-range or industrial printer, while others can be printed using a desktop printer; however, there are multiple considerations when recommending the best printer and configuration. No matter the label, the absolute best choice for printing barcodes is thermal printing. Thermal printing produces great quality, high-density barcodes at high speeds, whether it be one label at a time or an entire roll at once. There are two types of barcode printers: direct thermal (no ribbon required) or thermal transfer (requires printer ribbon).
