Changing the tax rate in QuickStore

 

Effective January 1, 2011, the new UK VAT rate will be 20%.

Adjusting your Wasp QuickStore software to reflect this change is fast and easy.

 

      

Simple VAT Setup
Use this method if you employ just ONE tax rate.

1. Go to the Setup Menu
2. Select Store and click Update Store Settings

3. Select Tab 4 – Pricing

4. In the sales tax section, please enter the new VAT rate: .2

5. Click OK to apply

 

       

Advanced VAT Setup
Use this method if you employ MULTIPLE tax rates.

1. Go to the Setup Menu

2. Select Alternate Sales Tax List

3. Double click on the tax option you wish you change

4. Change the affected rate (A, B, C, D or E) to .2

5. Click OK to apply

6. Close the Alternate Sales Tax List popup

PRICE TAGS
Don’t forget – if your printed price tags are inclusive of VAT, you will need to reprint your tags!
