Tom O'Shea
General Manager

As general manager for Wasp Barcode Technologies, Tom O’Shea sets the strategic direction of the company. O’Shea also serves as vice president for Informatics, Inc., the parent company of Wasp. In his eight years at Informatics, he has overseen a wide range of activities including information technology, purchasing and warehouse activities. He is currently responsible for all shared services, business process improvements and corporate financial reporting.

 

 

Grant Wickes
Vice President of Business Development

As vice president of business development for Wasp Barcode Technologies, Grant Wickes is responsible for strategic business direction and new business development opportunities including strategic partnerships, licensing and mergers and acquisitions. Wickes’ marketing and sales experience spans more than two decades, the majority of which has been spent growing small technology companies.

 

 

Hugh Furness
European Sales Director

Hugh Furness is the European Sales Director for Wasp Barcode Technologies. Hugh was appointed as the executive responsible for establishing Wasp in the UK in 2002 and is currently responsible for sales and marketing in the UK and Europe. Prior to joining Wasp Barcode Technologies, Hugh was head of Sales and Marketing with e-Promocard software company.

 

 

Jeff Schmeling
Director of Development

Jeff Schmeling serves as director of development for Wasp Barcode Technologies, where he oversees hardware and software development, as well as technical support. In his more than five years with Wasp, Schmeling has taken responsibility for managing product lifecycles and identifying opportunities for new products and services.

 

 

Brian Sutter
Director of Marketing

Brian Sutter is the director of marketing at Wasp, responsible for the development and execution of the company’s marketing strategy. His role encompasses brand management, direct and channel marketing, public relations, advertising, and social media. Sutter joined Wasp as the marketing manager in 2006, with a focus on web presence, product promotions, and brand awareness.
