	AIMGlobal – global trade association serving more than 900 members in 43 countries, AIM is dedicated to accelerating the growth and use of AIDC technologies and services around the world			NPD – tracking service and information about what is selling at retail

	AMI-Partners – a good site (one of the best we have found) for specific market information on small and medium size business market size, trends, metrics			Sterling Market Intelligence - firm started by Greg Sterling (ex of Kelsey Group where he ran the local media practice). Key information at his blog. Firm focused on online consumer and advertiser behavior and the relationship between the Internet and traditional media, with an emphasis on the local marketplace

	Counselors to America's Small Business - Apply for Grants, Free Business Workbooks, and Free Business Templates			Small Business Technology Institute – a marvelous resource of information and support for small businesses. Also publish a quarterly magazine that has many great articles

	In-Stat – reports for purchase that provide detailed spending segmentation, revenues forecasts and adoption trends across size of business and vertical markets. Sub sections on home businesses, small business, mid-sized business and enterprise businesses			SBA (Small Business Administration)

	IRS Small Business Resource Center Jupiter Research – provides research, analysis and advice, backed by proprietary data, to help companies profit from the impact of the Internet and emerging consumer technologies on their business			SBDC (Small Business Development Center) - a comprehensive small business assistance network in the United States and its territories started in 1980 as a joint effort by private/public partnership by Congress. Great site for entrepreneurs and small business information and further links and assistance. On-line information and information to 1100 local SBDC offices around the US

	Kelsey Group – strategic research and advisory service regarding local advertising including yellow pages, electronic directories and local media. Geared toward slightly larger-sized clients; however, good information for small business that sell locally			USASBE (US Association for Small Business and Entrepreneur) - goal of this site and organization is to advance knowledge and foster business development through entrepreneurship education and research

	NFIB (National Federation of Independent Businesses) – the largest advocacy organization representing small and independent businesses. NFIB's purpose is to impact public policy at the state and federal level and be a key business resource for small and independent business in America			US Census Bureau – home page for detailed US demographics and business sizes. 2002 Economic Census (with employees) - profiles American business every 5 years, from the national to the local level. Details size by employee, payroll and revenue of company that have employees as well as industry segment information. Great detail of the approximately 6 million US companies that have employees 2001 Economic Census (non-employees) – approximately 18 million other businesses run by individuals who do not employee anyone else
